Ο Αντιβασιλέας της άνοιξε την πόρτα και την έσπρωξε μαλακά μέσα. Το βαθύ σκοτάδι πoνούσε τα μάτια της, όμως τα πέταλα από τα Ρόδα, που εκείνος είχε στρώσει για να πατήσουν τα γυμνά της πόδια, έκαναν την καρδιά της να φτερουγίσει εκεί ψηλά στο ύψος του ουρανίσκου. Εκεί, όπου αυτός ο κόμπος έχει κρατήσει ατόφια μέσα του την γεύση από το πρώτο φιλί. Ένα φιλί σημαδεμένο με το βαρύ άρωμα των Μπαχαρικών, πάνω στις ιδρωμένες σταγόνες του κορμιού του. Ο Κόλιανδρος έρχεται να συνοδεύσει αυτό το παράξενο άρωμα μαζί με τη δική της ανάσα που μοσχοβολά από τα Περγαμόντα του άγουρου πόθου της.
